Five of the companies present Contemporary Dance, and perform their poetical and creative shape-shifting narrative in public spaces. The 'everyday' of the public domain is thus transformed into theatre. These dramatic fluid forms flow with an dynamic that can dazzle.
Photography can render dance movements into discrete revealing moments, that ordinarily escape our gaze. Such instances become solid like a sculpture. Amazing configurations are exposed; they can be beautiful, surreal and full of wonder...and have the capacity to surprise and delight.
